Job description
Role: IT Support Engineer Tier II Level I
Shift: Night Shift: 6pm 3am
Location: Hyderabad
Work model: In-Office
Responsible for ensuring the timely return of Randstad issued laptops to inventory. Using the inventory control system and HR data the specialist will review recent employee terminations and follow-up with users that were assigned equipment. They will work to have the equipment shipped back to the corporate office to be counted into inventory and prepared to be re-issued.
Help Desk Functions (Password resets, map drives printer troubleshooting and installation, how to
questions) respond to inbound calls, voicemails, and online tickets
Utilize Help Desk logging software by documenting each ticket with accuracy and consistency.
Track, monitor and follow up on incidents and tasks by reviewing the open incident report daily to ensure
SLAs, OLAs and the follow up schedule are met
Other responsibilities
Maintain accurate records of laptop inventory
Update and maintain service/maintenance records of laptops
Internal and external contact via phone, email and chat
Collection of equipment
Data research and analysis
Task maintenance and scheduling
Required skills:
Experience with Ivanti ticketing system (Preferred but not required)
Excellent customer service skills, including verbal and written communication skills
Troubleshooting and problem solving skills, including supporting many web-based applications
2-4 years of experience Hardware troubleshooting, IT Asset management.
Excellent communication skills and prior experience working with cross functional team is preferred
