Job Description:
- Startup & shutdown of servers
- User Account Creation, deletion, modification and security management
- Sending Daily checklist & monitoring of servers.
- Backup Operation monitoring with report
- Monitoring system logs and send alert for any abnormality
- Data Center walk through to monitor servers/storage's abnormality
- Performs periodic patching of servers based on recommended patch sets
- Configures, maintains and troubleshoots Oracle Hardware
- Configures, maintains and troubleshoots Oracle VM for Sparc (LDOM)
- Configure, maintains and troubleshoots Oracle Enterprise Storage
- Configures, maintains and troubleshoots Solaris 10/11 systems including general system administration tasks on Solaris servers and storage devices
- Perform backups and restores
- Configuration and administration of Solaris Zones and Containers on Sun Solaris 10 operating system
- Configuration and administration of ZFS logical volume manager
